Abstrak
ABSTRAK Based on the results of the interviews conducted by the researcher with the Arabic language teacher at Muhammadiyah Middle School, Sulit Air, meaning Teacher Sri Wahyuni, the results of teaching the Arabic language to students are low, especially in teaching composition. This is due to the lack of student participation in education, the lack of an independent initiative for education, as well as students who view the Arabic language as difficult. This research aims to find out the effect of the function method on the results of teaching compositions to students in the seventh grade at Muhammadiyah Solit Iyer Intermediate School. The research method used by the researcher in this research is the experimental method. It appeared that the significance result or (2-tailed) Sig in Table (10) is 0.013, and this result is smaller than 0.05. Therefore, the result is a null hypothesis (H0) and the accepted alternative hypothesis (Ha). This indicates that there is a mean difference between the experimental class and Chapter officer. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that there is an effect of applying the function method (method resitasi) in teaching compositions to increase the learning results of students in the seventh grade at the Muhammadiyah Sulit Air School.
