Abstrak
ABSTRAK Tesis ini berjudul : “Kontribusi Supervisi Kepala Sekolah terhadap Kompetensi Pedagogik dan Kompetensi Profesional guru PAI MAN di Kabupaten Agam”, (Tesis : 2019) yang disusun oleh Firdaus BP 201.15.019 , Program Studi Megister Pendidikan Agama Islam Fakultas Tarbiyah Ilmu Kependidikan (FTIK) IAIN Bukittinggi. Pada dasarnya tenaga pendidik MAN di kabupaten Agam walaupun para guru pendidikan agama Islam sudah sarjana bahkan ada yang sudah S2 tetapi dalam menjalankan tugasnya masih membutuhkan pengarahan dan pembinaan dari kepala sekolah. Sebagai pemimpin lembaga pendidikan kepala sekolah MAN di kabupaten Agam dituntut dapat meningkatkan kompetensi dan kualitas keilmuan seiring dengan perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Adapaun rumusan masalah dari penelitian ini adalah a) seberapa besar kontribusi supervisi kepala sekolah terhadap kompetensi pedagogik guru PAI MAN di Kabupaten Agam, b) seberapa besar kontribusi supervisi kepala sekolah terhadap kompetensi Profesional guru PAI MAN di Kabupaten Agam, c) seberapa besar kontribusi supervisi kepala sekolah terhadap kompetensi pedagogik dan kompetensi profesional guru PAI MAN di Kabupaten Agam . Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikani a) kontribusi supervisi kepala sekolah terhadap kompetensi pedagogik guru PAI MAN di Kabupaten Agam, b) kontribusi supervisi kepala sekolah terhadap kompetensi Profesional guru PAI MAN di Kabupaten Agam, c) kontribusi supervisi kepala sekolah terhadap kompetensi pedagogik dan kompetensi profesional guru PAI MAN di Kabupaten Agam. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah guru PAI pada MAN se Agam yang berjumlah 54 orang dan kepala sekolah MAN se Agam yang berjumlah 5 orang. Cara pengembilan sampel dengan tekhnik total sampling. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari 3 (tiga) angket yaitu angket tentang supervisi kepala sekolah, kompetensi pedagogik dan kompetensi profesional. Data diolah dengan menggunakan program statistical product and service solution (SPSS ) versi 23.00. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Supervisi kepala sekolah memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kompetensi pedagogig dan memiliki kontribusi sebesar 44,7 % terhadap kompetensi pedagogik guru. 2) Supervisi kepala sekolah memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kompetensi profesional dan memiliki kontribusi sebesar 77,3% terhadap kompetensi profesional. 3). Supervisi kepala sekolah memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kompetensi pedagogik dan kompetensi profesional guru dan memiliki kontribusi sebesar 50.2%. Berdasarkan hasil di atas, dapat disimpulkann bahwa untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik dan kompetensi profesional guru dibutuhkan supervisi yang selalu dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah. Basically Islamic Educations Teachers (PAI) in Islamic Hight School in Agam regency even though Islamic religious education teachers are bachelor and some even have S2 (Magisters) but in carrying out their duties still require guidance and guidance from the principal. As the leader of an educational institution the principal of Islamic Educations Teachers (PAI) Islamic Hight School in Agam District regency is demanded to be able to improve the competence and quality of science along with the development of science and technology. The problem formulation of this study is, a) how much the contribution of principals 'supervision to Islamic Educations Teachers (PAI) Islamic Hight School to pedagogical competencies in Agam District, b) how much the principals 'supervision contribution to the Professional competencies of Islamic Educations Teachers (PAI) Islamic Hight School in Agam District, c) how much the contribution of the principals' supervision to the principal pedagogic competencies and professional competencies of Islamic Educations Teachers (PAI) Islamic Hight School in Agam Regency. The purpose of this study is to describe a) the contribution of principals' supervision to the pedagogical competence of I Islamic Educations Teachers (PAI) Islamic Hight School in Agam Regency, b) the contribution of principals' supervision to the Professional competencies of Islamic Educations Teachers (PAI) Islamic Hight School in Agam District, c) the contribution of principals' supervision to the pedagogical and teacher's professional competencies Islamic Educations Teachers (PAI) Islamic Hight School in Agam Regency. The research method used was quantitative descriptive research. The population in this study were Islamic Educations Teachers (PAI) of Islamic High School in Agam District, which amounted to 54 teachers and principals in Islamic Educations Teachers (PAI) in Islamic Hight School in Agam district, amounting to 5 people. How to sample by using total sampling technique. The research instrument consisted of 3 (three) questionnaires, namely a questionnaire about the supervision of the principal, pedagogical competence and professional competence. Data were processed using the statistical product and service solution (SPSS) program version 23.00. The results showed that: 1) Supervision of school principals had a significant influence on pedagogical competencies and contributed 44.7% to teacher pedagogical competencies. 2) Supervision of school principals has a significant effect on professional competence and has a contribution of 77.3% on professional competence. 3). Supervision of the principal has a significant effect on pedagogical and professional competence of teachers and has a contribution of 50.2%. Based on the above results, it can be concluded that to improve the pedagogical and professional competence of teachers requires supervision that is always done by the school principal.
