Abstrak
Globally, the term of Shari'ah tourism known as Islamic and Halal Tourism is a new trend in the tourism world. Many parties try to catch these opportunities as a new step in tourism development. They have done many efforts, from improving management to transferring role from men to women (Bundo Kanduang in term of Minangkabau for woman) in managing the tourism. It has a good impact in increasing the number of tourists visiting. This study aimed to describe the development of the Creative Economy based on local wisdom with sharia tourism nuances managed Bundo Kanduang in the Tirtasari, tourisme destination area in Tilatang Kamang. This research was descriptive qualitative. The informants which were choosen by purposive sampling in order to be in the line with the reality in the field. They consisted of key and supporting informants, namely community leaders, Bundo Kanduangs, tourism agents. The results showed that the development of sharia tourism which existed in local wisdom originating from Islam as a source of Shari'ah tourism. The tourism management was directly controlled by the local government and involved the participation of community, especially bundo kanduang and youth. It resulted the revival of local tourism. The increase of tourists visiting encouraged the development of availability of variety facilities and tourism activities which impacted many people economically. Many new livelihoods appeared with the new creative economic development without having to go outside the country.
