Abstrak
ABSTRACT Sri Novelta Agustia, 2319140. The Effect of Quantum Learning Method toward Students’ Vocabulary Mastery at Grade V of SDN 03 Pakan Labuah. A thesis, State Islamic University of sjech m. Djamil djambek bukittinggi, 2025. This research aimed to find out the effect of quantum learning method toward students’ vocabulary mastery. Students in SDN 03 Pakan Labuah got some problems related to mvocabulary mastery. First, students’ are not actively participated in the classroom. Second, there are still many students who are not interested in vocabulary mastery. Third, the teacher used conventional methods in teaching. Fourth, students’ English Ability are still low. The researcher used the quantitative approach with experimental design. The population in this research was 5th grade of SDN 06 Pakan Labuah. The sampling technique in this research was total sampling. V.A was chosen as control group and V. B was chosen as experimental group and was treated by using quantum learning. The instrument of this research was vocabulary test that was used as pre-test and post-test for both experimental and control group. To analyze the data SPSS to test the hypothesis. This research found that there was significant effect of quantum learning toward students’ vocabulary mastery which was proved by SPSS result (0.000 0.05). This research also found that there was no significant difference of the students’ vocabulary mastery who were taught by using quantum learning with those who were taught without it (0.242 > 0.05). Furthermore experiment class has better mean score (80.8>76.4), has better maximum score (100>95), and has better minimum score (55>50) than the control class.
