Abstrak
This research is entitled "The Role of Niniak Mamak in the Election of Wali Nagi in View from Regional Regulation Number 5 of 2017 Concerning the Wali Nagari Regulations Perspective of Siyasah Dusturiyah". The discussion in this thesis is based on the role of Niniak Mamak in the nagari which regulates the election of the Nagari Mayor, in which there are various kinds of rules made by Niniak Mamak in the nomination of the Nagari Mayor. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach, namely research that aims to describe research results clearly with facts in the field. The data sources that the author uses in this research are primary and secondary data sources. From the results of the research conducted by the author, the author concludes that Sijunjung Regency Regional Regulation Number 5 of 2017 has been implemented and enforced in Nagari Tanjung Lolo. However, apart from the nomination requirements regulated by the Regional Regulation, the candidacy for the Tanjung Lolo village is also regulated by Niniak Mamak with certain conditions. The main goal is to achieve benefit and avoid harm in the village.
