ABSTRACT Sisri Rahmayuni, 2314031. Designing And Developing Fotonovela Using Autoplay Media Studio For Listening Instructional Media To Junior High School Students.Thesis. IAIN Bukittinggi. 2019. This study aims to develop fotonovela as a listening instructional media. Generally, fotonovela consists of picture and text. In this research, researcher has developed fotonovela by adding audio to fotonovela. Fotonovela was tested in a school to found the validity, practicality and the effectiveness of fotonovela. This research was R&D by using ADDIE model. The process of ADDIE consists of 5 stages: 1) analysis 2) design 3) development 4) implementation 5) evaluation. This research was conducted at eighth grade of SMP N 2 Kamang Magek 2018/2019 academic year. Based on the results of validation sheet from three experts, the means score of percentage was obtained 82.5%, it means that fotonovela was valid. The means score of practicality was obtained 78.33% which achieved practical prediction. The class of this research consists of 25 students Result of the research, the means score of pre-test class was 57 and the means score of post-test was 75. The number of students who achieved the KKM score (75) in the pre-test class were 3 students, while in the post-test class there were 15 students who achieved the KKM score. Furthermore, this fotonovela in the two means score test is calculated effectively by t-obtained > t-table (16.1> 2.064). In the one t-obtained average test > t-table (2.6 >1,711), it means that fotonovela was effective.
