The Effectiveness of Online Learning during Covid-19: Challenges and Opportunities
This study aims to reveal the effectiveness of online learning during the covid 19 period at the Bukittinggi State Islamic Institute. Various problems occurred starting from the network, the learning system, the readiness of Human Resources, the boring learning design and the readiness of students to take part in online learning. Some of the obstacles that occur are unstable internet connections and network limitations, the media used are often troublesome, the readiness of human resources that have not been optimally adapted to the system, students who cannot follow optimally because of boredom and learning that makes students less focused. This research method uses a survey approach using a google form in the form of a semi-open questionnaire, while the research data analysis uses qualitative descriptive. The results showed that the respondents who filled out the most were the 2018 class. Furthermore, generally lecturers used online learning media using WAGroup, telegramgroup, google classroom, zoom, email and e-campus. While the form of learning in the network used is the form of learning can be in the form of assignments, face-to-face, online discussions and others. Online learning has used discussion forums and its implementation is in accordance with the schedule that has been prepared on the e-campus. However, from the research conducted, many obstacles were found including the limitations of internet quota, internet signal, supporting IT media and mastery of material controlled by students. From the research data, it is concluded that online learning at IAIN Bukittinggi has not been effective.

Pengaruh Perceived Usefulneess, Perceived Ease Of Use, Perceived Donor Effectiveness Terhadap Niat Wakaf Melalui Uang Dengan Religiosity Sebagai Variabel Moderasi Di Badan Wakaf Al Quran
ABSTRAK Tesis ini disusun oleh Eli Febrian, NIM 30124015 Program Studi S2 Ekonomi Syariah, UIN Sjech M Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi, dengan judul Pengaruh Perceived Usefulneess, Perceived Ease Of Use, Perceived Donor Effectiveness Terhadap Niat Wakaf Melalui Uang Dengan Religiosity Sebagai Variabel Moderasi Di Badan Wakaf Al Quran Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, dan Perceived Donor Effectiveness terhadap niat wakaf melalui uang, serta menguji peran Religiosity sebagai variabel moderasi pada Badan Wakaf Al-Quran (BWA). Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih rendahnya realisasi penghimpunan wakaf uang di Indonesia meskipun memiliki potensi yang sangat besar, sehingga diperlukan pemahaman mengenai faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi niat masyarakat dalam berwakaf melalui platform digital. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksplanatori. Populasi penelitian adalah masyarakat yang pernah atau memiliki pengetahuan mengenai wakaf melalui uang pada Badan Wakaf Al-Quran. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 260 orang. Data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner menggunakan skala Likert dan dianalisis menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SmartPLS 4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Perceived Ease of Use berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap niat wakaf melalui uang, demikian pula Perceived Donor Effectiveness berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap niat wakaf melalui uang. Sebaliknya, Perceived Usefulness tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap niat wakaf melalui uang. Selain itu, Religiosity tidak mampu memoderasi pengaruh Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, maupun Perceived Donor Effectiveness terhadap niat wakaf melalui uang. Model penelitian memiliki tingkat kelayakan yang baik dengan nilai Goodness of Fit (GoF) sebesar 0,722 yang menunjukkan kategori large fit, sehingga model mampu menjelaskan hubungan antarvariabel secara baik. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi bahwa peningkatan niat masyarakat untuk berwakaf melalui uang lebih dipengaruhi oleh kemudahan penggunaan layanan digital dan keyakinan bahwa wakaf yang diberikan memberikan manfaat nyata bagi penerima. Oleh karena itu, Badan Wakaf Al-Quran perlu meningkatkan kualitas layanan digital, transparansi pengelolaan dana, serta penyampaian informasi mengenai dampak wakaf agar dapat meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat dalam wakaf melalui uang.

English Education Study Program, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, State Islamic University Sjech M. Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi. Advisor: Elsi Amiza, M.Pd. This research examined the effectiveness of the Fly Swatter Game on fifth-grade students' vocabulary mastery at SDN 02 Payakumbuh. This research was conducted to examine the effectiveness of the Fly Swatter Game in teaching vocabulary to the fifth-grade students of SDN 02 Payakumbuh. This study aimed to describe the effectiveness of the Fly Swatter Game towards students' vocabulary mastery compared with conventional teaching. A quantitative quasi-experimental approach was used, employing the Non-equivalent Control Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample consisted of 53 students selected through purposive sampling: 27 students of class V.B as the experimental group and 26 students of class V.C as the control group. Data were collected using a 20-item multiple-choice vocabulary test, which was valid (content validity by expert judgement) and highly reliable (Cronbach's Alpha = 0.950). Data were analyzed using the Independent Samples t-Test after normality (Shapiro-Wilk) and homogeneity (Levene's) assumptions were met. Results showed the experimental group's mean score rose from 36.94 to 78.89 (a gain of 41.95 points), while the control group's rose only from 55.96 to 58.46 (2.50 points). The Independent Samples t-Test revealed a significant difference, t(51) = 3.72, p = .001 ( 0.05), so Ha was accepted. The experimental group's posttest mean was categorised as "Effective," compared to "Adequately Effective" for the control group. It is concluded that Fly Swatter Game is more effective than conventional teaching in improving vocabulary mastery, especially for students with initially low achievement. Efektivitas Dana Bantuan Langsung Tunai Dalam Upaya Peningkatan Kesejahteraan Masyarakat Studi Kasus Di Nagari Muaro Paneh Kecamatan Bukit Sundi Kabupaten Solok
This study is motivated by the condition of welfare among low-income communities that has not yet reached a satisfactory level, prompting the government to implement the Direct Cash Assistance (Bantuan Langsung Tunai/BLT) program to alleviate financial pressure. The primary objective of this research is to evaluate the effectiveness of Bantuan Langsung Tunai (BLT) distribution in improving the living standards of residents in Nagari Muara Panas, as measured by targeting accuracy, timeliness of distribution, and utilization of the assistance funds. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed in this study. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with twenty-five informants, including nagari officials and Beneficiary Households (Keluarga Penerima Manfaat/KPM). Data analysis techniques consisted of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing as well as verifying conclusions. The findings indicate that the implementation of the (Bantuan Langsung Tunai/BLT) program in Nagari Muara Panas has generally been highly effective, with an effectiveness rate of 85%. The distribution of assistance was carried out in accordance with official procedures without any deductions. Although beneficiary selection followed government-established criteria, targeting accuracy was not yet fully optimal due to fluctuations in population data. In terms of timeliness, (Bantuan Langsung Tunai/BLT)) distribution was conducted according to the schedule after the funds were received from the central government. The (Bantuan Langsung Tunai/BLT) funds were predominantly utilized to meet basic needs and healthcare expenses, resulting in a positive impact in reducing the economic burden on beneficiary households. However, the program’s contribution to long-term improvements in community welfare remains limited.

ABSTRACT Anna Rizkiyah, 2321021 “The Efecctiveness of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) Approach on Students’ Speaking Skill in Grade X SMK 2 Bukittingi”. A Thesis, English Education Departement, Islamic State University of Sjech M. Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi,2025. The ability to communicate orally in English fluently and confidently is one of the key skills students must possess when learning a foreign language. However, many students still experience difficulties expressing their ideas orally due to a lack of understanding of the material, low self-confidence, and limited opportunities for practice, resulting in them being less active in class activities. To overcome these challenges, the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach is considered an effective alternative. This approach uses a quantitative descriptive approach. The research participants were class 10 of hotel 1-3 SMK 2 Bukittinggi. Data collection was carried out using a Likert-scale questionnaire consisting of 20 closed-ended items. The study’s results revealed that the implementation of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach significantly enhanced students’ speaking ability. These results were obtained based on data interpretation, with 82.11% of the responses being positive, 9.47% being neutral, and 1.05% being negative. The problems of this research are that the students consider the Arabic language subject to be difficult to understand, the teacher’s lack of creativity in enhancing the students’ speaking skill, the results of the speaking skill test for primary school students, the students feel that the process of teaching speaking skill is less attractive, and the teacher did not use the phonetic method. In teaching the Arabic language. This research aims to find out the use of the phonetic method to improve the speaking skill of eighth grade students, and to find out the effectiveness of using the phonetic method to improve the speaking skill of eighth grade students. Based on the completion of the post-test in the experimental class and the control class in understanding vocabulary for seventh-semester students at the Bollan Campa Guidance Institute, the author found that in the experimental class in which the vocabulary card method with pictures was applied the average result of the pre-test was 52.03 and the post-test was 79.40 and in the control class in which Applying the method was repeated posttest with an average result of the pretest 49.58 and the posttest 66.34.

The problems of this research are more focused on learning Maharah Kalam, including the means to train Maharah Kalam which are less interactive, students' Maharah Kalam scores do not exceed the expected limits, students' lack of interest and self-confidence in expressing Maharah Kalam. The population in this study was 353 students, while the research sample was taken from 2 classes, namely class E5 as the control class and class E9 as the experimental class with the number of students in each class being 35 people. The sample selection technique is Purpose Sampling. This type of research is quantitative research, quasi-experimental design, pre-test post-test style. Data analysis was carried out using the T-test formula. The research instrument consists of Pre-Test and Post-Test sheets. The resulting effect size is 2.35. The post-test score for the experimental class was higher than the score for the control class in the significance of the independent sample T-test which showed Sig. (2-tailed) (p) is 0.000 while Sig. Alpha (α) is 0.05. Then p α means the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. This study aimed to determine students comprehension their reading of the Use of Kahoot Game in English Class in the Tenth Grade in SMAN 1 Candung in the Academic Year 2023/20224. The problem of this research is lack of the students abilities in reading comprehension in English Classrooms in the Tenth Grade in SMAN 1 Candung. The purpose of this research was to find out how the effectiveness of using Kahoot Game in assessing students' reading comprehension on the use of Kahoot Game in English Classroom in the Tenth Grade of SMAN 1 Candung. To find out effective of Kahoot Game in assessing students reading comprehension of the use assessment tool in English Class in Tenth Grade of SMAN 1 Candung. The kind of this research was a descriptive through a quantitative method. The population was the Tenth Grade in SMAN 1 Candung. The researcher used the total sampling technique because the population was less than 100 students. The instrument of this research was a questionnaire that consisted of 20 items. The researcher did the validity instrument through three experts. In analyzing the data, the researcher used quantitative descriptive analysis. Based on the finding total percentage of data analysis was the highest category of using Kahoot game as assessment tool of students in reading comprehension is 85%. the total percentage of benefit using Kahoot game in assessing students reading comprehension is 82%. The mean score of two indicators is 83%, and interpretation of this mean score is effective because up to 80%.

ENGLISH STUDENTS’ PERCEPTION ON THE USABILITY OF DIGITAL READING IN E-LIBRARY OF UIN SJECH. M. DJAMIL DJAMBEK BUKITTTINGGI
This research was due to the problems that were found at UIN Sjech M.Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi. First, Digital Reading in e-lib UIN SMDD Bukittinggi has been provided since 2018, but not all user used it. Second, many civitas akademica like lecturers did not know and use it optimally. Third, they faced difficulties in saving the important sources needed for their task since they were not allowed to copy paste or print screen the text. Last, the use of digital reading was perceived negatively for whose who were digitally illiterate. In designing this study, the researcher used a descriptive quantitative method. The population included all students of UIN Sjech M. Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi, with the sample being English students who utilize digital reading on their Androids or PCs. Data collection involved preparing a Google Form questionnaire, distributing the link in English students' WhatsApp groups, collecting responses, and analyzing the data using Ardath's theory. Quantitative data from questionnaires were recorded in an Excel spreadsheet and analyzed by categorizing responses into five groups (strongly agree, agree, neutral, strongly disagree, and disagree), summarizing using descriptive statistics like means and percentages, and categorizing perception levels using Ardat's (2013) formula into high, moderate, and low perception based on mean scores and standard deviations. The findings reveal that English students at UIN Sjech M. Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi generally have a moderate perception of the usability of the digital library, with 63% of students rating it between 44 and 61.5. While a significant portion of students find the digital library moderately efficient, effective, satisfying, and learnable, there is still a considerable number who face challenges in these areas. Approximately 30% of students have a highly positive perception, indicating the digital library is user-friendly and supportive of their learning needs, while about 17.5% have a negative perception, struggling with significant usability issues. These results underscore the need for targeted improvements to enhance the digital library’s efficiency, effectiveness, satisfaction, and learnability to better support all users.

Therefore, it is necessary to carry out further description and exploration regarding the concept of good amil governance based on zakat core principles. This research is a literature study that adopts a descriptive-exploratory qualitative approach. Secondary data sources were obtained from various literature, including journal articles, books, official reports from the BAZNAS Study Center,and government documents, as well as other relevant sources. The Systematic Literature Review (SLR) technique was utilized to optimize the data, which was then analyzed in depth using a descriptive-exploratory qualitative approach to present a comprehensive picture of the concept of good amil governance according to zakat core principles

Ratna Juita. 2314.126. “The Effectiveness of Google Classroom on Teaching English in Online Setting at SMA N 1 Matur in the Academic Year 2020/2021”. A Thesis of English Department, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, IAIN Bukittinggi. This under graduated thesis aims to find out The Effectiveness of Google Classroom on Teaching English in an Online Setting at SMAN 1 Matur in Academic Year 2020/2021. It has been done at tenth Grade of SMA N 1 Matur because the some students who only copy from google classroom. The second is most of the students did not understand the material in online learning. The third is the teacher directly give assignments to students without considering the ability of students themselves, both in the ability to use technology, and their ability to understand material. The last is the students’ score was still under the minimum standard of KKM is 75 for English lesson. This research used descriptive quantitative research. The population of this research was at tenth Grade of SMA N 1 Matur in Academic Year 2020/2021 consisted of five classes. The sample was IPS1 IPS2 IPS3 IPA1and IPA2 . To determine the sample, the researcher used a Purposive sampling technique. The total sample is 33 sudents. The data was got through the questionnaire the supported by students’ English score. The result of this research showed that the students fill in questionnaire. Finally, the findings had supported the theories and findings suggested by some experts and the researchers that was helped by the questionnaire results with students’ Engish score results. It was implied in the finding showed that the Effectiveness of Google Classroom on Teaching English on Online Setting at SMA N 1 Matur in the Academic Year 2020/2021 with the score percentage of questionnaire is 70.4 % and supported by the student's mean score is 69.19 is between 54% ─ 71% with Sufficiently Effective. To sum up, the the Effectiveness of Google Classroom on Teaching English on Online Setting at SMA N 1 Matur in the Academic Year 2020/2021 is Sufficiently Effective category. EFFECTIVENESS OF MEDIATION IN SHARIA ECONOMIC DISPUTE RESOLUTION: PHENOMENOLOGY AT BUKITTINGGI RELIGIOUS COURT
The main problem in this paper is how the effectiveness of mediation in sharia economic dispute resolution is based on PERMA No. 1 of 2016 at the Bukittinggi Religious Court. What are the inhibiting factors of success in mediation? To answer this question, the author uses an inductive and deductive analysis framework concerning the law effectiveness theory of Lawrence M. Friedman. This paper finds that mediation in sharia economic dispute resolution at the Bukittinggi Religious Court from 2016 to 2019 has not been effective. This is because several factors influence it. First, in terms of legal substance, PERMA No.1 of 2016 concerning Mediation Procedures in Courts still lacks in addressing the problems of the growing community. Second, in terms of legal structure, there are no judges who have mediator certificates. Third, the legal facilities and infrastructure at the Bukittinggi Religious Court have supported mediation. Fourth, there are still many people who are not aware of the law in terms of legal culture and do not understand mediation well, so they consider mediation to be unimportant.

First, in terms of legal substance, PERMA No.1 of 2016 concerning Mediation Procedures in Courts still lacks in addressing the problems of the growing community. Second, in terms of legal structure, there are no judges who have mediator certificates. Third, the legal facilities and infrastructure at the Bukittinggi Religious Court have supported mediation. Fourth, there are still many people who are not aware of the law in terms of legal culture and do not understand mediation well, so they consider mediation to be unimportant.
