A BATCH OF SOUP RECIPES is a collection of over 75 of the best recipes from Riva, friends, and family. There is a photo for every tasty bowl and instructions easy enough for new cooks. The appendix has charts for food substitutions, food yields and metric conversions. Some recipes include: Buffalo Chicken, Meatball and Bean Stew, Bacon Scallopini with Asparagus, Ham and Two Potato, and Tangy Tomato Lovers. There are bread and homemade noodle recipes like Rosemary Parmesan Baguette, and Butter Dips. Mom's version of the old classic soups are super simple with few ingredients, like Ham and Bean Soup, Oyster Soup and Tomato. Most of the recipes make about 1 to 2 quarts of soup and can easily be doubled or tripled.
