ABSTRACT This thesis is entitled "ANALYSIS OF AGRICULTURAL ASSISTANCE POTENTIAL IN IMPROVING FARMERS' INCOME (Case Study: Tanjung Alai Village)". Compiled by Tiara Cantika with NIM 3221103, S1 study program Islamic Economics, Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, State Islamic University (UIN) Sjech M.Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi. This research is motivated by several problems, including distribution of aid that is not on target, less than optimal utilization, and challenges in terms of farmer knowledge and skills in using modern agricultural technology. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the distribution of agricultural aid so that it can reach farmers who really need it evenly, identify obstacles that cause low utilization of the aid, and explore the potential for agricultural aid in Tanjung Alai Village. In this study, the author uses a qualitative approach with data collection methods that include interviews and field observations, as well as data analysis based on relevant theories so that it can provide meaningful contributions to academics, practitioners, and farmers themselves. The results of the study indicate that most agricultural assistance has not been distributed evenly due to lack of coordination with related parties and inaccurate data collection which has a major impact on the income of small farmers. And there are still many farmers who use traditional methods in farming because of the lack of understanding of farmers to use modern tools.
