Abstrak
This research is based on the existence of problems in learning Arabic writing skills in class 7 MTsN 8 Agam. The problem is the lack of courage for class 7 students to express ideas, ideas and thoughts into Arabic writing correctly. This is due to the lack of media use in learning Arabic. This research is a Experimental Design Quasi research using the Nonequivalent Gontrol Group Design that aims to describe the improvement of student learning outcomes through Quiet Book Arabic media in learning Arabic in class 7 MTsN 8 Agam. This research was conducted in two cycles with two meetings. The data collection method used is through learning outcomes tests, observation and interview. Furthermore, data analysis through individual and group test results and learning completeness results. The subjects in this study were class 7.2 and 7.5 MTsN 8 Agam students in the even semester of 2023-2024, totaling 48 people. The results showed that there are influences and differences in understanding of writing skills among students who learn to use Quiet Book Arabic method and students whose learning uses the blackboard method. This can be seen from the comparison of the average pre test and post test scores for the experimental class and the control class. The average pre-test score was 56.42 and the average post-test score was 82.83 in the experimental class. while for the control class the average pre-test score was 56.75 and the average post-test score was 76.42. So, it can be concluded that the use of Quiet Book Arabic media in learning Arabic can improve student learning outcomes.
