Abstrak
In academic field, writing becomes crucial subject to learn due to the requirment to make a scientific paper. On the process of writing it self, the paper should be authentic and scientific where its coming from the authors ideas. In other word, scientific paper should not have any term of plagiarism. Plagiarism is taking someone's idea and putting it into the research without citing the source properly. This is can be called as academic dihonesty. There are several ways to avoid plagiarism activity, paraphrase. Paraphrase is rewrite the original text into your own laguage. Moreover, Paraphrase is consist of few techniques that can be used. So, this research aims to find out the ability of students paraphrasing skill and what technique is the most effective to use by the student .
