Abstrak
AYU SUSANTI. 2313.005. Developing English Module for Second Grade Students of SMK Terpadu Gema Nusantara Bukittinggi. Thesis. IAIN Bukittinggi. 2019. This research was conducted to discover the problems related to the process of teaching English, to describe the design of the instructional module in teaching English and to measure the validity of module developed in teaching English at second grade students of SMK Terpadu Gema Nusantara Bukittinggi. The aim of this research was to develop English module for second grade students, especially for nursing major. This research was Research and Development (R&D) with ADDIE (Analysis-Design-Development-Implementation-Evaluation) procedure. The subject of this research was the second grade students of nursing SMK Terpadu Gema Nusantara Bukittinggi. The instrumentation of this research was interview, questionnaire and validation sheet. Interview was done to the English teacher, questionnaire was given to the students and validation sheet of the module was validated by the three validators. The result of this research indicated that the developing module was an appropriate way according to the needs analysis from the interview and questionnaire given. Then, the module has designed well by using ADDIE procedure by addapted only Analysis, Design and Development procedure. Then, this module was valid, since it had been validated by the validators with a little revision. In other words, this module was ready to use for the English teacher and second grade students of nursing SMK Terpadu Gema Nusantara Bukittinggi
