ABSTRAK Uswita. 2017. “Pengaruh Metode Mind Mapping pada Mata Pelajaran Aqidah Akhlak untuk Meningkatkan Motivasi dan Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas XI di MAN 2 Bukittinggi Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018”. Metode pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru dalam menyampaikan pelajaran selama ini cenderung menggunakan metode konvensional dan berpusat pada guru (Teacher Centered ), sehingga siswa merasa jenuh dan hasil belajar siswa masih belum tuntas. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan suatu metode pembelajaran yang melibatkan siswa sehingga siwa bisa termotivasi dan nilai siswa akan meningakat. Maka dalam penelitian ini digunakan metode Mind Mapping. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: Pertama hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan metode Mind Mapping lebih tinggi dari hasil belajar siswa dengan metode konvensional. Kedua hasil belajar siswa yang memiliki motivasi tinggi dengan metode Mind Mapping lebih tinggi dari hasil belajar siswa yang memiliki motivasi tinggi dengan metode konvensional. Ketiga, hasil belajar siswa yang memiliki motivasi rendah dengan metode Mind Mapping lebih tinggi dari hasil belajar siswa yang memiliki motivasi rendah dengan metode konvensional. Keempat, interaksi antara metode Mind Mapping dan motivasi terhadap hasil belajar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen. Quasi Exsperimental Desaign. Rancangan Facturial Design (2x2). Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 171 orang siswa dan sampel berjumlah 58 orang. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik Purposive Sampling dan didapatkan XI MIA 1 sebagai kelas eskperimen dan kelas XI MIA 3 sebagai kelas kontrol. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes hasil belajar dan angket, dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji t dan ANAVA. . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : Pertama, hasil belajar siswa dengan metode Mind Mapping lebih tinggi dari pada hasil belajar siswa dengan metode konvensional. Kedua, hasil belajar siswa yang motivasi tinggi dengan metode Mind Mapping lebih tinggi dari pada motivasi siswa dengan metode konvensional. Ketiga, hasil belajar siswa yang mempunyai motivasi rendah dengan metode Mind Mapping lebih tinggi dari pada motivasi rendah dengan metode konvensional. keempat tidak terdapat interaksi antara metode Mind Mapping dengan motivasi siswa dengan hasil belajar. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah penerapan metode Mind Mapping pada mata pelajaran Aqidah Akhlak pada kelas XI di MAN 2 Bukittinggi memberikan hasil positif terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dibandingkan dengan metode konvensional ii ABSTRACT Uswita. 2017. Therefore, it needs a learning method that involves students so that the student can be motivated and the student's score will increase. So in this research used Mind Mapping method. This study aims to determine: First the results of student learning are taught by Mind Mapping method is higher than student learning outcomes by conventional methods. Both learning outcomes of students who have high motivation with Mind Mapping method is higher than student learning outcomes that have high motivation with conventional methods. Third, the result of students learning which have low motivation with Mind Mapping method is higher than the result of student learning which has low motivation with conventional method. Fourth, the interaction between the Mind Mapping method and the motivation of the learning outcomes. The type of this research is quantitative research with experimental method. Sampling was done by purposive sampling technique and got XI MIA 1 as experiment class and class XI MIA 3 as control class. Data were collected through learning result test and questionnaire, analyzed by using t test and ANAVA. . The results showed that: First, the results of student learning with Mind Mapping method is higher than the student learning outcomes by conventional methods. Second, the result of high motivation student learning with Mind Mapping method is higher than student's motivation with conventional method. Third, students' learning outcomes that have low motivation with Mind Mapping method is higher than low motivation with conventional method. fourth there is no interaction between Mind Mapping method with student motivation with learning result. The implication of this research is the application of mind mapping method on subjects Aqidah Akhlak in class XI in MAN 2 Bukittinggi give positive result to improvement of student learning result compared with conventional method.
