STUDENTS' PERCEPTION OF USING DIGITAL LITERACY IN TEACHING WRITING AT THE ELEVENTH GRADE OF SMKN 4 PAYAKUMBUH
ABSTRACT Khairan Nisa, 2315.037. Students’ Perception of Using Digital Literacy in Teaching Writing at The Eleventh Grade of SMKN 4 Payakumbuh in The Academic Year of 2019/2020. A Thesis. State Islamic Institute Bukittinggi, 2019. The research was due to several problems found in the field; some of the students were bored to write a text, it was indicated by many of them made a noise or played their handphone. Students writing skills were still low. The used of digital literacy in teaching writing was still inadequate. Additionally, the research is aimed to know students perception of using digital literacy inform of blogging in teaching writing at the eleventh grade of SMKN 4 Payakumbuh. The research is used descriptive quantitative research by using questionnaire as an instrument. The researcher used purposive sampling technique. The sample of this research was XI TKJ 2 at SMKN 4 Payakumbuh that they were 27 students. The data was collected by distributed a questionnaire to each others. In addition, the analyzing of the data was done by identifying researcher respond, analyzed the data and made conclusion with level of rating quality. The result of the research, students perception of using digital literacy inform of blogging in teaching writing at the eleventh grade is 78,13% and it shows that the students have good perception in writing prosess by using digital literacy.
