Mengenal Filsafat Hukum

Buku Mengenal Filsafat Hukum ini, merupakan buku Jilid Pertama yang disusun penulis untuk memenuhi kebutuhan mahasiswa yang baru pertama kali memperlajari filsafat hukum. Untuk itulah pada Bab Pertama buku ini dihantarkan kepada penulis untuk memahami perbedan antara Teori Hukum, Filsafat Hukum dan Jurisprudence. Setelah itu barulah Penulis memperkenalkan metode memperlajari hokum secara ontologism, epistologis dan axiologis. Setelah itu mulailah Penulis mengajak mahasiswa untuk menjelajah beberapa mazhan dalam filsafat hokum, yaitu Mazhab Hukum Alam, Mazhab Positiviseme Hukum, Mazhab Sejarah Hukum, Mazhab Utility, Mazhab Realisme Hukum, Teori Hukum Kritis . Buku ini tentunya adalah buku yang diperuntukan bagi para mahasiswa yang ingin mengenal filsafat hukum dengan cara sederhana, oleh sebab itu bahasa yang dipergunakan disesuaikan dengan tututan pembelajaran studi filsafat hukum. Kritik dan saran sangat diharapkan demi memperbaiki bukum ini.

Sasak Voice

Speakers' production patterns can clearly be understood as shaped by the structural properties of their specific language(s), and this is also true in Sasak. However, what about when multiple word orders and voice choices are possible? When languages allow for syntactic options, are there universal non-syntactic constraints that exert influence on the production and syntactic coding choices? This dissertation explores potential universal biases identified in literature that has grown out of Bock and Warren's (1985:50) work on Conceptual Accessibility, or the "ease with which the mental representation of some potential referent can be activated in, or retrieved from, memory". The specific biases examined for Sasak in the current work are Discourse Topicality (Givón, 1983), animacy (Branigan, Pickering, & Tanaka, 2008), and noun phrase length (MacDonald, 2013; Tanaka, Branigan, McLean, & Pickering, 2011). Results of a corpus analysis are combined with data from two production experiments, and show that both animacy and topicality affect voice selection in Sasak. Specifically, [+animate] and [+topical] noun phrases are produced earlier in a sentence, thereby affecting the grammatical voice produced. Also, Sasak speakers exhibit a 'long before short' bias (i.e., placing longer noun phrases before relatively shorter ones in utterances), affecting voice selection as well. Contextualized in cross-linguistic data, this supports the argument made in this dissertation that the cognitive effect of the semantic richness and salience of longer nouns is relative to the speaker's stage in planning and producing an utterance.

Shinmen Munisai

This is about better swordsman than famous lonely samurai (ronin) Miyamoto Musashi (Shinmen Takezo). Like Douglas Macarthur, his father is a senior ranking military officer. Extraction of Thorns of Ceiba Petandra for Phytochemicals Studies

Thorns of Ceiba petandra (kekabu plant) is widely used in complementary medicine and has been recommended for the treatment of many diseases such as bronchitis, diarrhoea and skin disease. The thorn of its extract via soxhlet extraction was investigated for optimum operating condition of extraction process and major phytochemical constituent presence (flavanoids, alkaloids and tannins). Methanol and ethanol were used as a solvents in the extraction process with vary the solid to solvent ratio (w: v); 1:10, 1:15 and 1:20. The phytochemical constituents were investigated by using standard procedure and also Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) analysis is only for the optimum condition. The phytochemical analysis revealed that the presence of alkaloid in the entire sample while tannins and flavanoids at solid to solvent ratio in a range of 1:10 to 1:15 for both type of solvents. Based on Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) analysis have prove that the extracted oil by using methanol contain high amount of active compound compare to sample extract using ethanol. This is due to the polarity of the solvents. Results showed that the methanol extract was found to be generally more effective than ethanol extract with solid to solvent ratio is 1:15.

Mathematical Finance belong to the Finance Engineering but employing more mathematics, following the Financial Laws of Pacioli's IFRS (International Finance Reporting Standards) and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).It is totally is different and very contrast (opposite) to the commonly known Financial Mathematics which are branches of Mathematic (mostly Investment Algebra), enriching the Investment from outside, such as TVM (Time Value of Money) and BEP (Break Even Point), etc., which never touching Core Finance and nor Accounting Rules important to Firm's Health!Firm's health is very important, when properly controlled it could prevent bankruptcy and avoid innocent people from being poor. It is the greatest problem in economy, much greater than any cases ever solved by Economic Nobel Laureates, so far.The nicest thing about it, is that only requires simple Junior Highschool Algebra. We just need to be consistent with its less number treatment of constellations. Its saddest part is that many professors and doctors are no longer able to understand Junior Highschool Algebra, and hiding in Accounting jargons. Please go back to its Introduction for glossary, at anywhere inside the book, so then we can still understand what are those mean with simple Algebraic Rule there. We try to avoid some sentences multiplied, added, eliminated divided, rooted or powered by another sentences, that make many traditional finance book successful (delivering few simple things, seen as difficult and scary), but less useful and seldom be accurate.
